Morning Personality
The Prairies

A VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY WAITS!

GENUINE MORNING PERSONALITY in a Competitive Market on the prairies!

A promotion within our company has created this amazing opportunity as a morning man for our Hot AC/CHR FM station! Along our fantastic co-host, you’ll be required to create not just good, or even great morning radio, but AMAZING RADIO!

Everyone knows what I’m looking FOR in searching for a morning man, but let me tell you what I’m NOT looking for!
Announcers need not apply. I don’t need fake people who are “Ron Radio” I’m talking about real people who know their audience and talk to them, not at them. I don’t want an introvert, but someone who LOVES being out in public, doing shows live on location, loves doing remotes, loves doing MC work around the community, and is the life of the party for our numerous station events and listener parties.

I don’t need someone out of radio school or 2 years in the business, I need someone who knows what they are doing as this is a key shift with our top station in this market and I’m not risking messing that up! Expect me to check out your references like the FBI.

I don’t need someone set in there ways and who knows it all. You NEED to be a sponge and can take everything around you and find a way to get it on the air. Someone who knows how to get listeners on the air the old fashioned way and also use Facebook and Twitter. If you can’t edit fast and on the fly, don’t bother sending me your stuff. Whiners and Divas need not apply. Be very resourceful in finding ways to do it, rather than be in my office whining about what you don’t have or can’t find. I don’t need a princess with a big head, but someone who is always in humble learning mode and is a leader. I don’t need someone who is better than everyone else. I don’t need someone who is always looking at the other side of the fence, so if you’re not prepared to put down some reasonable roots – move on!

If you don’t love HOTAC/ CHR music almost as much as your mom, this isn’t the gig for you. I don’t want someone who wants things handed to them on a silver platter, but busts a nut making their career happen and are happy helping others as well. The other half of my morning show is super talented and the easiest person in the world to get along with, yet has no ego. Be the same.

You would be working for a growing company with great benefits and as much opportunity as you make for yourself. You won’t be living in a mansion with 9 bathrooms, but you wont be living in a van down by the river (unless you so choose to do so) Plus you’ll be working with the best co-host I’ve worked with for years and trust me, that alone is worth LOT’s.

This is a big opportunity and attitude is at the top of my list. So if you have radio dripping from your teeth, we should talk!

ALL applications will be kept in the strictest of confidence. Send me your demo and resume.
