Casual Swing Host - Toronto ON

Indie88 is looking to add a part-time freelance announcer to our on-air team. The position would cover 2-5 LIVE on-air shifts per week, including weekends, evenings, afternoons, and middays. Due to the sporadic nature of this schedule, we’ll work flexibly within the successful candidate’s availability.

Duties: 

·      Responsible for hosting, operating and producing own live shows

·      Prepare on-brand, entertaining, and demographic appropriate content for on-air and online

·      Manage social media platforms while on-air and on-location

·      Knowledgeable of world events as they relate to the station audience

·      Perform commercial narration for production purposes as required

·      Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

·      Minimum 2-5 years on-air experience in radio

·      Excellent on-air skills

·      Excellent social media skills

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·      Passion for engaging with the local audience

·      Familiarity with  WideOrbit, MusicMaster, Voxpro an asset
