Jeff Murray Passes Away

It is with sadness that the family of Jeffrey Murray Riesen announces his sudden passing in Vernon, BC.

Originally born and raised in Winnipeg, Jeff lived a roving lifestyle pursuing his passion as a radio personality and host. He had that classic, smooth, and commanding radio voice - the kind that could pull you in from the first word.

Jeff's rich and resonant tone carried across the airwaves for over 40 years, sharing stories and music with listeners far and wide.

He recently moved to the Okanagan to retire and enjoy the remainder of his life listening to and playing music into the sunset.

Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Joseph (Joe) and Ruth Riesenbach.

He is survived by his siblings, Adrian Raizman (Jack) and Ronald Riesenbach (Perla); his niece Alisa Raizman (Soren); nephews, Joshua Raizman (Sarah), Ariel Riesenbach (Lisy), Noah Riesenbach, and Carmi Riesenbach (Renée); great-nieces, Sloane and Maya and great-nephews, Jonah, Caeden, Samuel, and Coby.

Funeral services will be held at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, 230 Armstrong Avenue in Winnipeg on January 31 at 1:30 p.m.
