Pattison Media has a RARE opportunity to join our team as our next Music Director and Morning Show Host in beautiful Cranbrook, BC!
We’re looking for a fun, outgoing and community focused radio pro to join our team. We’re dedicated to making great radio with a focus on the 80’s & 90’s, conversation, and community.
The successful candidate will:
· Love the 80’s & 90’s tunes! Hearing these tunes makes you use words like wicked, awesome…maybe even MINT!
· Love the East Kootenays and our people! It’s a beautiful area! Get out, play, and meet EVERYONE at every event!
· Love being a Real On Air Personality! You were out doing it on the weekend? Bring it to the show! Share your life, have conversations, and make connections!
· Love working as a Music Director. Scheduling, building clocks, CanCon reports. You need to rock this on the daily!
· Love being a great Teammate! Our team is fantastic, and we want to add another great team player to the mix!
· Love new challenges and learning new things! Be ready and more than willing to jump in wherever to lend a hand.
Responsibilities:
· Hosting an awesome Morning Show 6-10am, Mon-Fri on 102.9 Rewind Radio
· Participation and presence in and at client and community events.
· Voice tracking when required, Remotes, Commercial Voicing.
· Hosting and MCing events.
· Work with community organizations to assist them in the promotion and awareness of their non-profit community events.
· Proven track record of listener engagement and community involvement
· You’re innovative and can create a show that is compelling, interactive, listener driven and local.
· Experience with Wide Orbit and Adobe Audition is an asset. Experience with Music Master is a must.
· You are creative, quick, efficient, organized, dependable and have a great sense of humor.
· Other duties as required by management.
· You have a valid driver’s license.
· You must be legally qualified to work in Canada.
