Mornings in Beautiful Terrace BC!

 

CFNR is looking for the next morning star for our operation in Terrace, BC.

 

CFNR's expanding network broadcasts to over 50 communities in the beautiful northern, coastal and central parts of BC.  We also broadcast in Vancouver on our new station, CJNY – The Journey FM. 

 

The successful applicant should be an entertainer with a genuine interest in current and local events and a desire to get to know the communities we broadcast to. You will be responsible for preparing, planning, and executing a 6am to 10am show Monday through Friday and voice tracking as needed.  You will also be required to help with on location broadcasts and remotes. 

 

The ideal candidate will have:

• A positive, “let’s make it happen!” attitude

• A post-secondary diploma in broadcasting as well as related experience.

• An ability to understand and connect with the audience - demographic

• A valid driver’s license.

• Strong knowledge of Social Media

• A working knowledge of the classic rock format.

• An ability to be a team leader/role model and inspire co-workers.

• Familiarity with iMediatouch on air and production systems as well as digital audio editing systems.

• Knowledge of Indigenous and First Nations culture.
