On Air Talent (Middays) / Promotions Coordinator - North Bay, Ontario
About the Job:
Vista Radio has an immediate opening for a Midday Show Host / Promotions Coordinator based in North Bay, Ontario.
Role/Responsibilities:
Host live, locally-focused radio shows & voice track/production as required
Know how to prep a great hyper local show targeted to our core listener demo
Attend regular programming and staff meetings
Be a part of the community and make promotional appearances as required
Know how to be a storyteller to YOUR audience with creative & compelling content
Attend regular airchecks
Maintain station social media pages and websites
Be active with social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
Meet with station clients as required
Help create, package and execute station promotions on-air
All other duties as assigned by the Regional Cluster Program Director or Sr. Management
Job Requirements:
Excellent On-Air skills
Strong audio/editing and communication skills
Managing social media pages by uploading engaging and interactive content
Knowledge of Adobe Audition is required
Experience with on-site broadcasts/remote and event set up
Strong organizational / interpersonal skills
Ability to relate to the local target audience
Must enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is based on team & individual effort
Valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract
High level of initiative/self-motivation, goal oriented
A positive, friendly manner and customer service approach
