There's just over one week to go until one of the biggest events in the industry calendar - the NAB Show in Las Vegas! The team here at Aiir have been working hard to pull together some exciting things to share with those lucky to be on the show floor.
And in this edition of the Aiir Newsletter, well, it's a big one! There's news about the next versions of PlayoutONE. Yes, versions - not just the next update, but looking further beyond that...
Plus, it's the long-awaited return of the Aiir Scheduler - and a roundup of updates across the Aiir family you may have missed...
PlayoutONE 5.2: Coming April
We're pleased to announce that the next version of PlayoutONE, version 5.2, will be available this April.
It includes:
improved mobile support for WebVT on iOS and Android
a new 'tag' system to help you keep on top of your media library
diagnose issues in real-time with a dedicated troubleshooter for LiveMIC
connecting with services like Radio Workflow and MusicMaster is easier than ever
Along with a host of small improvements to make running your station an even smoother experience.
PlayoutONE 5.2 is currently in final testing with a select group of stations - thanks to everyone who's been part of it. We'll have more details on the new features and the rollout after NAB Show.
Only at NAB: PlayoutONE version 6!
So that's the immediate future - but we'd like to give you a little preview of what's coming next...
At NAB Show in Las Vegas next month, from April 6th to 9th, we'll be showing a world-first preview of PlayoutONE version 6.
Built on the power of the PlayoutONE Audio Engine, we're giving the interface a brand-new modern look to streamline your stations. It's clean, flexible and filled with little details we think you'll absolutely love.
It's a big project so it's going to take a bit of time before it's available - but we're really excited to share it at this early stage to get your feedback. It's a bold new look so come along with us for the ride!
Plus...
Aiir Scheduler returns to NAB!
Last year, we launched the beta version of our brand-new cloud based music scheduler at NAB.
We got such a great response - and we loved hearing about all the exciting things you wanted to do with it and what you'd love to see come in future updates.
So we thought we'd take the time to get as many of those ideas in as we can and give you the best first-time experience possible.
It's now part of our main web platform so you can manage your music logs alongside your website, apps and Alexa skills - with the same multi-user, multi-station functionality you've come to expect from Aiir. It's faster, feature-packed and we think you're going to love it.
Come and give it a try at NAB Show, where we'll also be announcing more details on pricing and availability. We hope it's been worth the wait - but don't worry, that wait is very nearly over...
Find us on the show floor!
Join us in the West Hall — booth W1342 - from Sunday, April 6 to Wednesday, April 9.
