ZoomerMedia is seeking two passionate on-air talents to join our new station in Ontario's beautiful Owen Sound! We have openings for midday and afternoon shifts. If you live in the area or are excited to relocate to the stunning Southern Georgian Bay region, we'd love to hear from you.

As an On-Air Talent at ZoomerMedia, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with our vibrant audience, showcasing your personality on-air, on social media, and in public appearances. This is more than just a radio job; it's about being a true voice for our community, engaging with listeners, and creating unforgettable content that resonates with the diverse interests of our Zoomer audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, entertaining, and informative on-air content, creating a unique personality-driven show.

• Operate the radio board, voice-tracking software, and perform basic audio editing for smooth broadcasts.

• Engage with the community through social media and attend public events as a representative of ZoomerMedia.

• Curate and play music, with a strong focus on 20th-century rock/pop.

• Stay current with arts, culture, and lifestyle topics relevant to the Zoomer demographic.

• Work independently and as part of a team to create compelling radio content.

Ideally, You Have

• Experience as a broadcaster with a deep understanding of the importance of being a true personality, not just a voice.

• Familiarity with ZoomerMedia’s core philosophy and audience: who we are, who we represent, and who we speak to.

• A passion for engaging with listeners both on-air and on social media, with the ability to create interactive and engaging content.

• A strong knowledge of 20th-century rock/pop music and its cultural significance.

• An interest in the arts, culture, and lifestyle topics that reflect the interests of our Zoomer audience.

• The ability to break away from traditional radio rules and bring fresh, creative ideas to the airwaves.

• Comfort with operating your own board and using voice-tracking software, as well as performing basic audio editing tasks.
